5th Grade STEAM

This introductory course is intended to give students an understanding of the importance of good Digital Citizenship and the dangers that technology may hold if not used properly. Students will also be taught to think critically and solve problems efficiently and effectively. These skills, combined together, will allow students to drive their own learning as they endure a variety of challenges designed to stretch their imaginations and encourage collaboration, critical thinking, and creativity.

This course will be guided by the current New Jersey Learning Standards in Computer Science and Design Thinking, Science, Mathematics, and English.
