Hello and Welcome to Art Class!

 

 

My name is Lucy Shunk and I have been teaching Art at Hackettstown Middle School for 16 years.  I grew up in the Poconos and graduated from Moravian College with a Bachelor's degree in Fine Art. I am lucky to teach Studio Art to all 4 grades here at the Middle School.  Each grade level is exposed to new mediums, techniques, artists and ideas across a wide range of cultures and timelines.

 

In addition to teaching art, I also co-advise the Cross Country Club with Mr. Silverstein.  Check out the club page for more details and to find copies of necessary forms.

 

All graded assignments are posted in Google Classroom & grades are updated in Realtime/Student Portal.  Please work with your child to stay up-to-date on all art assignments, and feel free to contact me if you have any questions or concerns.
