Hello and Welcome to Art Class!

 

 

My name is Lucy Shunk and I have been teaching Art at Hackettstown Middle School for 15 years.  I grew up in the Poconos and graduated from Moravian College with a Bachelor's degree in Fine Art.  In addition to teaching art, I also create a lot of artwork outside of school in a wide range of mediums.

 

I am lucky to teach Studio Art to all 4 grades here at the Middle School.  Each grade level is exposed to new mediums, techniques, artists and ideas.

 

In addition to teaching art, I also co-advise the Cross Country Club with Mr. Silverstein.  Check out the club page for more details and to find copies of necessary forms.

 

I am available for office hours between 8:10-12:30 Monday through Friday.  Please feel free to email me or use the Google Classroom platform if you have any questions or need further clarification.
