Meet Mrs. Gitomer
Hi Tigers! My name is Mrs. Gitomer and I will be the school counselor for 5th and 7th graders this year! This is my fourth year at HMS and I have loved getting to know my students and their families, the staff, and the community.
Before coming to HMS, I lived in Richmond, VA for nine years where I was a high school counselor for seven years and a middle school counselor for two years. I received my Bachelor’s of Arts in Psychology from James Madison University and my Master’s in School Counseling from Marymount University. I love being a school counselor and could not imagine doing anything else!
