Welcome to the Ackley Institute of Technology

I am thrilled to begin my first year at Hackettstown Middle School and to become part of such a vibrant and supportive community. My teaching journey has also taken me to Mount Olive, Sparta, and Randolph, where I’ve had the privilege of inspiring students to think critically, solve problems, and grow into confident collaborators.

For more than 20 years, I have mentored robotics teams across northern New Jersey, guiding students as they discovered the excitement of STEAM through creativity, teamwork, and innovation.

What excites me most about joining Hackettstown is the opportunity to spark curiosity and get students excited about STEAM through meaningful, hands-on learning experiences. Whether it’s designing projects, experimenting with new ideas, or tackling real-world challenges, I believe students learn best when they are actively building, testing, and improving.

I look forward to helping your students on their journey through STEAM from 5th through 8th grade helping them develop a love and passion for science, technology, engineering, arts, and math. Hopefully they can develop a love of these subjects and take that passion with them as they continue their education and beyond!
