About Mrs. Grzywacz
Mrs. Grzywacz grew up in Sussex County, NJ and went to High Point Regional High School. She graduated The College of New Jersey in 2005 with a B. A. in Music Education/Vocal Concentration. Mrs. Grzywacz also earned a Master's Degree in School Counseling from Kean University in 2009.
Mrs. Grzywacz taught in Bridgewater, NJ for 10 years before she began teaching at Hackettstown Middle School in 2016. Mrs. Grzywacz was named Governor's Teacher of the Year for her schools in 2011 and 2023 and recently earned the honor of the 2024 Warren County Teacher of the Year!
Mrs. Grzywacz is a member of many choral organizations at the county, region, state, and national levels and has helped many students audition for honor choirs. She is active in the Morris Area Choral Directors Association and is the Middle School Vice President. She is also involved in the New Jersey American Choral Directors Association and serves as the Elementary Honor Choir Manager. Mrs. Grzywacz had the honor of conducting the 2022 Morris Area Middle School Honor Choir.
Mrs. Grzywacz enjoys teaching Chorus and 5th grade General Music and wishes to provide her students will a positive and enriching experience. She is passionate about building the foundation of healthy singing and offering many fun performing opportunities for her students!
Mrs. Grzywacz is an active participant in the Hackettstown community and is proud to be a parent and teacher in this town! In her spare time, she loves seeing Broadway shows, gardening, exercising, coaching recreation field hockey, and spending time with her husband and three children.
