Mrs. Brenner

Hi everyone!

I am Mrs. Brenner, the HMS Media Specialist and 8th grade ELA teacher at Hackettstown Middle School. This is my 13th year at HMS in various roles including Media Specialist, teacher of G&T, Technology & Language Arts. Years ago, I attended HMS as a student! In fact, my son was the 4th generation in my family to attend this school. I graduated from Centenary University with my BA in English with Elementary Education and Middle School English Language Arts certifications. I recently completed my Masters in Educational Technology at New Jersey City University along with my Media Specialist and STEM certificates.

My love of books and kids is the reason I LOVE my job. Being able to share stories and reading with my students is the best. While we may not enjoy the same types of books, I am always ready to help you find your next read.
