Class Syllabus

Course Description: Fifth-grade social studies focuses on the cultures and environments of Native Americans, along with the European exploration and settlement of the Americas. The course also explores the conception of the American colonies which ultimately led to the birth of the United States of America, and the exploration of the rights and responsibilities of American citizenship in both the past and present.
